Purity through Rectification

Our Story

At Bar Owner's Choice, we believe in keeping things honest. While many brands focus on the story, we focus on what’s in the glass. By refining high-quality spirits through a process called rectification, we can deliver cleaner, smoother, better-tasting pours - at a fraction of the price.

Our Process: Sourcing the Right Base

Every bottle of Bar Owner's Choice Vodka, and the Base of the Gin, begins as a grain neutral spirit,  sourced from identical channels as many big brand named spirit companies. Each batch of alcohol we receive will have been distilled six times before it arrives in Burlington.

The Rum comes from St. Croix and the Whiskey comes from Texas.

Rectification & Filtration

Through our process of rectification, we elevate that base spirit for purity and balance. Each batch is carefully filtered, proofed, and refined to ensure it performs consistently behind the bar and tastes clean in every pour.

Every batch starts with a clean neutral spirit and goes through a two-stage carbon filtration process to achieve clarity and smoothness.

The first filtration removes trace compounds that can create unwanted harshness. The second polishes the spirit, giving it a softer texture and cleaner finish.

Distillers vs. Distilleries

Most spirits in the United States begin at one of a few major distillers, large-scale producers that create neutral grain spirits used by countless brands, from top-shelf labels to well liquors.

Many of those brands redistill the same spirit once more so they can legally claim it was “distilled" on the bottle

At Bar Owner's Choice, we skip the gimmicks. We start with the same high-quality base spirit from UltraPure and refine it through our own process, achieving the same quality found in leading national brands without the inflated price tag.
